Trading from Cambodia: what is different
Cambodia is one of the most dollarised economies in Asia: prices, wages and bank deposits are commonly in US dollars, with the riel used for small change. A USD trading account therefore needs no currency conversion for most Cambodian traders.
The National Bank of Cambodia keeps the riel close to 4,000–4,100 per dollar, and has been promoting wider use of the riel; it is not offered as a CFD.
At UTC+7, London opens at 15:00 Phnom Penh time in winter, New York at 20:00, and the London–New York overlap runs from 20:00 to midnight.
