How Raw ECN pricing works
On a Raw ECN account we add no markup to the spread we receive from our liquidity providers. Instead you pay a fixed commission per lot traded: $7 per standard lot on EUR/USD and $10 per lot on gold. A 0.10-lot trade pays one tenth of that.
| Cost of 1 lot EUR/USD | Standard | Pro | Raw ECN |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spread (at the lowest) | 1.0 pip ≈ $10 | 0.6 pip ≈ $6 | 0.0 – 0.2 pip ≈ $0 – $2 |
| Commission | $0 | $0 | $7 |
ECN, STP and our execution
All AlphaFX Pro accounts use straight-through processing: your order is routed over FIX to institutional liquidity providers and we do not take the other side. The Raw ECN account exposes that liquidity's spread directly, which is why its spread can reach zero on the most liquid pairs.
Who it is for
- Scalpers and day traders opening many positions a day.
- Strategies with tight targets where a fraction of a pip matters.
- Traders who prefer a fixed commission to a variable markup.
