Trading from Thailand: what is different

USD/THB is one of the few Southeast Asian currency pairs on the platform, so Thai traders can trade their own currency directly. It moves on Bank of Thailand rate decisions, tourism flows and the US dollar's direction.

Gold has deep roots in Thailand, where it is still weighed in baht (one baht-weight is about 15.2 grams of 96.5% gold). Domestic shop prices follow international spot gold — XAU/USD — converted into baht, which is why Thai gold buyers watch both.

At UTC+7 with no daylight saving, the Asian session is your morning, London opens mid-afternoon and the London–New York overlap runs from 20:00 to midnight in winter.

    Forex market hours in Thailand

The forex market is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, passing from Asia to Europe to North America. These are the main sessions converted to local time in Thailand.

Times in Indochina Time (UTC+7). Europe and the US change their clocks in late March and late October/early November, which moves the London and New York sessions by an hour.
