Trading from Nepal: what is different

Nepal is one of very few countries on a 45-minute offset (UTC+5:45). The London session opens at 13:45 Nepal time in winter, New York at 18:45, and the forex week opens at 03:45 on Monday morning.

The Nepalese rupee is pegged to the Indian rupee at 1.6 NPR per INR, so it moves with the rupee against the dollar. USD/INR is available as a non-deliverable forward (NDF) CFD — the closest proxy on the platform for the dollar against the Nepalese rupee.

Nepal Rastra Bank tightly controls foreign exchange and has warned against forex margin trading. Read the regulation section below and check the position carefully before opening an account.
