Gold, priced from XAU/USD
Local gold prices across South Asia, whether per tola or per gram, are set from the international spot price of gold in dollars, converted into the local currency. XAU/USD is that price, available with leverage up to 1:100 and micro lots from 0.01.
Unusual time zones
Sri Lanka is on UTC+5:30 and Nepal on UTC+5:45, so forex sessions start on the half or quarter hour. Each country page converts the Tokyo, London and New York sessions, and the weekly open and close, into local time.
