Trading from Lebanon: what is different
Since the banking crisis that began in 2019, much of Lebanon's economy has run on US dollars held outside the banks. An account that is held in dollars and funded and withdrawn in USDT does not depend on a local bank transfer at any point.
Lebanon is on UTC+2 in winter and UTC+3 in summer, changing its clocks close to when Europe does. In practice the London session opens at 10:00 Beirut time and New York at 15:00 for most of the year.
The working week is Monday to Friday, the same as the market, so every trading day is a working day.
Forex market hours in Lebanon
The forex market is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, passing from Asia to Europe to North America. These are the main sessions converted to local time in Lebanon.
