Trading from Jordan: what is different

Jordan stopped changing its clocks in 2022 and now stays on UTC+3 all year. That makes the London and New York sessions arrive an hour later in local time between November and March, when Europe and the US are on winter time.

The dinar has been pegged at 0.709 to the US dollar since 1995 — about 1.41 dollars per dinar — so a USD account holds its value in dinar terms.

Jordan's financial regulator has historically been strict about margin trading in currencies. Check carefully that you are permitted to trade CFDs with an overseas broker before opening an account.

    Forex market hours in Jordan

The forex market is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday, passing from Asia to Europe to North America. These are the main sessions converted to local time in Jordan.
